Stewarding at Weyfest
Firstly, our thanks go the excellent and hard working Stewarding Team who helped make Weyfest 2012 such a great success. Many of our stewards have been with us from the early days and we look forward to seeing you again this year, along with, we hope, many new faces - the more the merrier!
We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible stewards to work with us at Weyfest to keep the event running smoothly and help us deliver a safe, comfortable and stress-free music festival.
Stewards Shift Rota
The working days are split into shifts and to become a Weyfest Steward you will be required to work a minimum of 4 x 4 hour shifts, with at least one 2100-0100 shift on either the Saturday or Sunday.

Shifts:
Each steward will work a minimum of 4 x 4hr shifts and in return will receive free festival entry to enjoy many hours of live music on 4 stages....plus free camping, a hot meal and hot and cold drinks for each shift you work plus a Festival T-shirt and a programme.
Your shifts will be allotted to you on a first come first served basis - we will do our best to accommodate your preferences wherever possible, but this cannot always be guaranteed.
All Stewards must report to the festival site 1 hour before the start of their first shift in order to receive a briefing and their festival pass. This does not form part of the shift.
You will need to send us a deposit: Why?
To discourage failure to turn up for your shifts you will need to pay a Security Bond in the form of a credit card guarantee which is taken from everyone who applies to become a Weyfest Steward. This deposit will not be invoked; provided you carry out your duties and attend all the shifts you have been allocated. ONLY if this is not done, then the credit card will be charged accordingly with £50.00. Cancellations up to 10 days before the festival will not be charged. If you cancel inside of 10 days, without a justifiable reason, there will be a £25.00 charge. (No cheque deposits this year)
You must be aged 16 + and willing to get on with the job regardless of whether it is boring, hard work or dirty! (but no toilet cleaning).
