Stewarding at Weyfest

10 hours work = free pass to many hours of live music on three stages!!

We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible stewards to work with us at Weyfest to keep the event running smoothly and help us deliver a safe, comfortable and stress-free music festival.

Though sometimes tough on the feet, stewarding can be great fun!!

You will be required to work two 5-hour shifts over the weekend. In return you will be given festival entry for the whole event (please note that restricted numbers will apply to Friday night on a first come first served basis), one meal for each shift and a camping pitch should you require one (you supply your own tent).

Working periods:

Fri 3rd Sept: 9am - 12am

Sat 4th Sept: 9am - 12am

Sun 5th Sept: 9am - 11:30pm

Your shifts will be allotted during these times and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences wherever possible.

All Stewards must report to the festival site at 8:30 on the morning of their first shift in order to receive a briefing and their festival pass. This does not form part of the shift.

You will need to send us a deposit:

To discourage failure to turn up for your two shifts you will need to send us a cheque for £50 which we will not bank unless you fail to arrive at the agreed time for your shift. Once your shifts are complete your deposit cheque will be destroyed. Your cheque must include the account holders address and cheque guarantee number on the back. In the event that your application is not successful you will be notified and your cheque will be destroyed.

You will need to be courteous to our customers and fellow members of Weyfest and Rural Life Centre staff and volunteers at all times.

You must be aged 16 + and willing to get on with the job regardless of whether it is boring, hard work or dirty! (but no toilet cleaning).
